Valve Tracking QA System

Valves are processed according to a unique numbering system that follows each valve from receival to shipment.
Manufacturer specifications for thousands of valves has been painstakingly acquired over 15 years, providing us with an extensive library of technical data for ensuring valves are repaired to original or better standard.
Receiving test and diagnosis is carried out usually within 2 days, and a report/ quote sent to the customer for approval.
A fast-track repair service can be carried out in breakdown cases (subject to parts availability)

Valves are tested to produce pressure and flow-gain plots, which allows key data relating to the condition of the valve to be measured (e.g. null leakage, hysteresis, linearity, metering edge wear, damaged internal seals).

High response valves are dynamically tested using a high-frequency wave generator. A dynamic command signal is applied to the valve and the spool response carefully measured to determine the condition of the dynamic elements of the valve.
Performance data for each valve is graphically acquired and stored using our in-house developed data acquisition systems.

Our large inventory of amplifiers allows most of the valves we receive to be tested quickly and with the same type of amplifier as used in service.
